Please note: We would be shocked and amazed if someone actually completed this list. That’s not the point. Also, we’ll be judging entries based on quantity and quality. For instance, we’ll give more credit to someone who takes a picture of someone wearing a non-Christopher Nolan Joker than someone who simply takes a picture of a poster.

#34 – Do you consider Flash to be Silver Age? I want to participate but dont know half this stuff, one source online says Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man are Silver Age.
#35 – very confused on this one too, can someone give me a hint?
#34 – Yes, the wikipedia definition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Age_of_Comic_Books) is the one we’re looking for… I know it’s fuzzy — we aren’t really comics nerds either.
#35 – The majority of cosplay at conventions is from recent anime series. For more of a challenge, we’re looking for a cosplayer from an earlier anime series. There are lots of anime series from before 2000 — a very popular one was Sailor Moon.
Also a rules question – if we are not sure if a picture qualifies and we send a second picture of the same number that does qualify, will it count? Or can we only send 1 pic per number? Because some things are really vague…
It’s fine if you submit more than one picture for a single item on the list — just be sure to tag both of them with the number. It won’t count toward quantity to have more than one picture for a single item (for that portion of the scoring, we’ll be looking for the number of items satisfied, not the total number of pictures) — but it may count toward quality.
Also — as for vagueness of the list or the fact that you’re not familiar with all of the items — that’s the whole point! Dragon*Con is awesome *because* it covers so many different areas of geekdom. We were trying our best to include at least a taste of each.
Our main goal with the photo hunt is to have fun and experience the convention in a way you might not otherwise.
